Welcome to Maedae Hair Care

Hey y'all!! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself since you took a moment to subscribe my blog. My name is Alicyn, I am the owner and founder of Maedae Hair Care. I have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and an EMBA in Entrepreneurship. Like many businesses, I started during the pandemic when businesses were closed and/or we were too scared to be around other people. Salons were closed but that did not matter to my hair or the hair of those in my life. We still needed to take care of our hair. The world as we knew it had changed, which placed a change in me. My friend was concerned that his hair was thinning, my daughter has 4C hair that required patience and my mother had concerns with healthy hair growth.

Before the pandemic, I had never thought of making my own hair products. I had never thought of starting my own business honestly. I had some trial and error because I didn't just want to make hair products, I wanted those products to be all-natural. I did not want to compromise the core purpose of this journey I was embarking on, I wanted to create all-natural hair care products to help people wherever they are in their hair care journey. Whether their hair is thinning, unmanageable or slowly growing -- I wanted to use what is naturally grown from the earth to help you love your hair.

What to Expect

Now that I have introduced myself and provided some insight to how we got here, I want to let you know what you can expect in our monthly newsletters. I have ~17 products on the website, so each month I will highlight one of our products. During the highlight, we will talk about the benefits of the product and the intended use. Since you have invested in your hair by supporting my business, you will receive a special offer each month.
